Mystic is the second in the Photosynthesis line of Kontakt libraries, an ambient cello library aimed at film/game composers, producers, and musicians who need otherworldly pads and soundscapes, unique cello articulations, and creative instrument effects. Watch the overview video. Mystic is derived entirely from nearly 6 hours of cello recordings, processed and twisted into over 120 beautiful Kontakt instruments. Alongside the processed instruments are raw solo cello articulations. This isn't a standard cello library, so there's no legato or staccato patch, but rather unique playing styles like artificial harmonics, harmonic tremolos, sustained ricochets, sul ponticello, harmonic glissandos, and more. Mystic includes 127 Kontakt .nki instruments, and a 2.25GB library of samples in .wav format (sound designers rejoice!).
