Formed in the fall of 2012, Smookie Illson is a US-based collaborative music project aimed at injecting the dance music scene with a distinct take on bass music. With a combined 30+ years of experience under their belts, the secretive trio churned out a string of 808-powered bootleg remixes and originals. Using social media to freely distribute the music - and with the backing of popular music blogs like Trap and Bass- they saw their creations find their way into the virtual crates of discerning bass heads worldwide.
