Содержание Course Overview 1m 21s Introduction An introduction to the DVD Session 01: History of Delay: 20 minutes. In the first session we investigate the history of delay and examine the tape delay system along with the importance of the capstan in preventing wow and flutter. Session 02: Basic Delay: 20 minutes. We begin to investigate the parameters on offer in a typical delay unit and how they can be employed to create basic delays Session 03: Theory 1 - Long Delays: 20 Minutes. Here, we examine the theory behind long delays, how they are created in the real word and the effects of diffusion. Session 04: SoundToys Echoboy 1: 30 minutes With the theory discussed, we examine what is perhaps one of the most influential delay processors available today - the Soundtoys Echoboy. Session 05: SoundToys Echoboy 2: 30 minutes For this session we continue to examine the parameters available on the Soundtoys Echoboy and how they relate to the real physics of delay. Session 06: Practical Echo: 40 Minutes This session culminates all the theory from the previous 5 sessions and examines how delay can be used within a mix to create the impression of space within a mix. Session 07:Short Delay: 40 Minutes This session examines the theory behind short delay and the effects that constructive and deconstructive interference can impart on a sound, and how it can be controlled with careful settings Session 08:Medium Delay: 25 Minutes After examining short delay, we move onto the theoru of medium delay and the effects these settings can impart onto sounds and the mix.
